This book is put on my list as one of my all time favorite romance novels. I could have sat and read this in one sitting.
The main character Sadie Montgomery is dealing with face blindness, a condition where her brain is unable to make out peoples' faces. The kicker is that Sadie paints portraits for a living. She also begins to have crushes on two different guys while struggling to see their faces. Her life has been turned upside down by this facial blindness.
The narration and writing was light, fun and hilarious. Even though Sadie is struggling with a serious condition, the romance and humor kept the whole story light hearted. It also dealt with relationship issues between Sadie and her dad and how they end up navigating through those problems. The novel was the perfect balance of real life issues and humor. Sadie's personality and situations she got into was humorous to me. I was cracking up over how Sadie's face blindness effected her choice between the two men who asked her on a date. This book hit such a funny bone that I was laughing about it hours after I finished it. This is a romance you have to read immediately!
